Two regulation baseball fields at Shelby Park in East Nashville, operated by the Nashville Old Timers Baseball Association since 1990. Grass infields, maintained clay mounds, lights, dugouts, batting cages, concessions and a clubhouse. Baseball has been played here since 1914.

About Us
Baseball has been played on this ground since 1914. The original diamond — known for decades simply as Shelby #1 — still has home plate within six feet of where it was first laid, and the Nashville Old Timers Baseball Association has run the complex since 1990. A second regulation field was completed in 2014 and named by Metro Parks for Mickey Hiter. Both fields carry a full metal outfield wall, winged foul poles, windscreened side fences, lights, new dugouts and double mounded bullpens. The complex adds two batting cages, in-ground irrigation, PA systems, a scoreboard on Old Timers Field and an LED video wall on Mickey Hiter Field. The remodeled clubhouse holds the Junie McBride Hall of Fame Room. More than 300 events run on each field every year and over 20,000 players and fans come through the complex annually. Most Middle Tennessee high schools have played here, along with district and regional tournaments each spring, the Middle TN Adult Baseball League and seven SANDLOTT World Series. Belmont University played its home schedule at Shelby until 2011. Ken Griffey, R.A. Dickey, David Price, Wayne Garland, Orestes Destrade and Mookie Betts have all played on this field. Hundred-year-old trees ring the park. The Cumberland River runs past it, freight trains cross the hundred-foot trestle beyond the outfield, and the fountains on the park lake carry to the stands on a summer night.
